I'm commenting here because of something I've noticed you do every now and then and finally reached the most inappropriate point in your thread with Loras: mentioning Kevin's story of abuse in brackets. I understand that's part of the character's history, but you can't simply drop that bomb like that without 1) checking with the mun you're threading with first and 2) adding a warning in the subject line for anyone who may be reading. It's really uncomfortable for many people to read about stuff like that, especially when a post's tone is completely the opposite (like the mentioned thread about gay marriage). The fact Kevin can sound like a kid sometimes makes it extra bothersome.
Which takes me to my other point: it can be really hard to reply to Kevin's tags. You don't give us much to work with. Following the thread with Loras example, one of your tags says just "No." and something in the brackets that the other character can't answer to. Other examples I find now going through your tag in the network: "Where?" "Pretty." "I don't think so" Some of those have text in brackets, but they're inner thoughts and not something we can react to. We can't do much with single words. I'm canonblind but if Kevin really does talk that little, you need to write a bit more in the tag so the other players have something to work with. And that something is not just inner thoughts. Use body language, expressions on his face. Is he smiling? Frowning? Wrinkling his nose in disgust? Anything that can add content to the tag.
On your first point, Loras-mun and I have talked about that and they gave me some ideas that will help with that. Which I'm planning to use.
On your second point, thanks! :-) This is really helpful for me. Kevin can be really challenging to write when he's just getting to know someone. This give me another layer to think through that should really help with that.
And thanks for coming to me with it. I really appreciate that.
