Only a day? [It doesn't seem real.] It was two years for me.

[He smiles when he finally sees her in person.]

[ That startles a laugh out of her, and she blushes a little. ]

You got taller.

[fire_punk]

[He shrugs, smiling and also blushing slightly.]

Well, I'm nineteen now.

[ichoosefight]

[ She backs out of the door to wave him in. ]

I guess I owe you two 'Happy Birthday's.

[fire_punk]

Thanks, I guess, then.

[He steps in and closes the door behind him.]

There won't be anymore there, I don't think. I died again.

[ She instantly makes the transition to worried. ]

What happened? Are you okay?

[Kylar is slow sometimes.]

You're back, so you left. Did you graduate?

[He smiles, nods, and hugs her.]

I'm fine now. There was this group causing a lot of trouble and somehow, in stopping them, Joanne and David damaged the earth. She woke up and decided she'd had enough of humans, took over the Djinn. And one of them found us while we were on our way to talk with her. I remember Rahel was about to attack Joanne and that I had to stop her somehow and then I woke up back in my room here.

Yeah, I graduated the end of last week.

Then I suppose I should say congratulations.

Why'd you come back?

[ichoosefight]

[ She hugs him tight, then steps back to look him up and down. He seems okay. ]

So you took a bullet for Joanne?

I didn't want to leave at all.

Not a bullet. Actually, I threw a fireball at Rahel. And it wasn't just Joanne. Lewis, Cherise, and Tommy were there, too. And Tommy's just a baby.
